Highly recommend staying at The Roost!! Nita F. from Bakersville, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in December, 2012 The reason we chose The Roost was because the back yard is fenced and we wanted to bring our dog. Everything we needed was there even fresh rosemary growing!!!! Thanksgiving at The Roost A guest from Cromwell, CT recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2012 My family stayed at The Roost for Thanksgiving week. We were very pleased with the house - large bedrooms with king beds, TV's in each room, plenty of seating in the main area, and a lovely kitchen. The fenced yard was great for our dog. Missing the Roost... Penny S. from Summerville, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 Amazing experience. We were lucky enough to meet the property owner who later invited us to use his dock to go shrimping. He went a step further and showed my husband and father in law how to properly throw a crab net. He certainly didn't have to but that made a huge impression on the Sharp men. We enjoyed our stay and we miss it terribly. Thank you for a week of memories. DOG LOVERS DREAM BEACH HOUSE Deb C. from Roswell, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 REALLY ENJOYED HAVING A FENCED BACKYARD AND THE HAMMOCK AT THE ROOST!! MY DOG HAD THE FREEDOM TO RUN AROUND AND PLAY OUTSIDE IN THE BIG BACKYARD. - Tell them you're bringing a dog so they can schedule the lawn fertilizer company another week. COMING FROM THE CITY, HAVING THAT OPEN SPACE "LEASH FREE" WAS A HUGE GIFT!! THE LOCATION TO THE BEACH WAS SO CONVENIENT. The only reason I'm giving "clean" 4 stars is that there were a lot of spiders and bugs leading up the stairs into the house and inside. I figure it's probably beach life, but ... ANYWAY, HAVING THE OPTION FOR WIFI AND MULTIPLE TVS WITH A HUGE OPEN FLOOR PLAN OFFERED GREAT MODERN AMENITIES - WHEN WE CHOSE TO USE THEM. THE GRILL WORKED OUT SO WELL, AND JUST RELAXING ON THE HAMMOCK IN THE COOL SHADE OF THE HOUSE WAS A PURE PLEASURE. THE OUTSIDE SHOWER WAS FUN TO USE, TOO. THE ROOST REALLY OFFERED US A NEEDED VACATION. THANK YOU!!GREAT LOCATION! LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING TO EDISTO AND WE'LL ONLY STAY AT THE ROOST!!
