Great...with a reservation... Deborah G. from Simpsonville, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 Have stayed here before and enjoyed the improvements made in the last few years. Loved the location and loved staying there. HOWEVER, the kitchen faucet barely worked, and notified Atwood. Two days later a plumber came, and said he'd replace faucet the following day, given Atwood approval. Never saw him again,nor did Atwood call. I would go back in a heartbeat, IF kitchen repairs made. Nice location, but.... A guest from Dalton, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 The locatiOn of the house was great. The house itself was very cluttered and disorganized. All of the drawers, cabinets, and shelves were full leaving no place for our food etc that we brought. The furniture appeared dirty. On a better note, the beds were comfortable and the Atwood staff was very prompt to respond to needs. Sam was super! Twenty-something years later, the house was even better than I remembered! I ache to be sitting on that porch again during a rainstorm!! Edisto is just beautiful! Loved our stay Kristin D. from Little Mountain, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2012 I believe that the cleaning company didn't do a very good job because some parts of the inside of the house were dirty. There was also no water pressure in the kitchen sink, so something may be wrong. Also I believe someone may have taken the can opener because we couldn't find one. It was our first time to the beach with our daughter and the house was just wonderful. The screen porch was amazing and we spent most of our time out there. Would Stay in This House Again Donna D. from Clarksville, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 This place was the perfect place for us. The place was well maintained, clean bathrooms, beds and living room furniture were 'livable' - nothing fancy, but comfy enough. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking anything. Washer & dryer is upstairs. Bathrooms were updated - no rust or mildew. The screen porch was great to sit on and listen to the palmettos rustling. The walk to the beach was about 4 houses back from the front road, so it wasn't far at all. We plan to stay here again. We've been coming to Edisto for 25 years as adults, grew up here as kids - there is no better place to "relax". Stayed for 14 days in July, 2010 My family loves some of the amenities of this house but found that it was in need of a thorough cleaning including getting rid of some of the junk in drawers and cabinets. The bait left in the crab trap attracted and caught a baby possum. We were pleased with the agency for taking care of this problem and for the prompt attention for an electrical repair. The location is good, short walk to the beach. The screened-in porch is great, where we spent a majority of our time. The furnishings in the house were fairly old, worn, some in really poor condtion, broken chair, that sort of things. Definitely could use some new things, new clean furniture slipcovers maybe,etc. The house overall could use a really good cleaning. We had a baby in the house so we were really diligent about checking things on the floor, etc. Found things like change, some old bugs, and a knitting needle under tables/chairs, etc. There was a broken front step leading upstairs to the porch, and one of the toilet had flushing issues. Maybe the house wasn't the greatest, but Edisto is the greatest, and we will definitely return, as we have been doing for the last twenty-five years. We Love Edisto!
