The deck railing around the house is beginning to fall off and is a hazard especially for young children. Also we saw at least 4 roaches while there. Stayed for 8 days in May, 2011 after 20 consecutive years of staying in 44-A, i feel imminently qualified to offer the following critique..#1 it was unpleasant to share the house with the resident palmetto bug population. never a problem before but certainly disconcerting.....2# the living room furniture has never been changed in our 20 years of renting and to put it mildly is uncomfortable and virtually impossible to sit on for any length of time.(sectional couch and rocker) CHANGE THEM. This time I used the internet. So no one told me that they would be re-surfaceing the road and there would be 12 to 20 Diesel machines parked by my house, sometimes with their engines running. Soooo close to the beach!! Very clean. Not as spacious as the camera angle suggests but still plenty of room. Great for 2 families. Good size TVs in each room. Only prob was that house isn't insulated well so the AC runs constantly and the vents drip. Would def rent again!! The other agencies would only rent for the whole week. In fact, I had wanted to rent a house closer to where another family member was staying but that agency would not break up the week and I noticed it set empty the whole weekend we were there.
