It was the perfect setup for us, it would have been better if the king size top sheets we requested had been king size (they were queen size and did not come to the edge of the bed and could not be tucked in properly. Perfect place for a beachfront vacation Micheal K. from Athens, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2010 We loved the place wholeheartedly. We had so much fun and loved the lushness of the vegeatation growing around it as well as the property's amount of privacy. Our only complaint was that the giant tubs in the master bathrooms on both sides were too large for the water heaters to fill. It would take all the hot water to get the tubs 3" deep in water and we had to call maintenance because one of them had a broken drain. Since it was my bridal suite I have to say we were pretty disappointed by that. Other than the tubs it was great. The Shamoo themed bedroom was ironically pretty hilarious for us but for others the decor may have seemed a bit childish for a master bedroom suite. But we have a sense of humor about such things. We would recommend this to our freinds and family whole heartedly and will do our best to book it again! We love Edisto island and the property is in a great location without many people around but the general condition wasn't that great. There was a leak in the ceiling where it looked like they tried to repair it but it looked pretty bad. It had also run down the wall and the paint was peeling off in pretty large chunks. The bathrooms also need some updating. The light in the shower upstairs was either burnt out or didn't work so it was very dark and we did some cleaning on the sinks upon arrival. Oh yeah, the inside of the microwave was very rusted. Most of the paint had peeled off and it was questionable if we should use it. All in all though we still love the location and the size of the place is perfect for us. And the DVD, VCR and T.V. were not operating. (t.v. had to be hit often to continue playing.) But the house was super and we had a ball.
