It may not be as big as the surrounding new additions, but it has everything necessary for a great stay! It was very clean and has a great view of the ocean. We are a family of five, spanning three generations plus a teenage guest, making a total of six. We feel relaxed at E.H.H. It is on second row and we can see the ocean from four rooms or the porch. It is perfect for our group of sand loving, game playing people. We appreciated how the owner took some of our suggestions from last year and acted upon them. Great place! The house WA in need of some minor repairs and was a little dirty when we arrived. The bathroom was the worst with urine running down the side and on the floor around the toilet. GREAT OUTDOOR SHOWER! HELPED SO MUCH! Debra G. from Greer, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2010 Amy listened to our needs and suggested the perfect house. Beach views were great. Ocean breezes on deck! Clean Grill a plus! A place you could be comfortable without worry that the kids will wreck the decor. The only thing I would suggest is that is, at minimal cost, the place would be much improved if the bathroom mirrors were replaced-worn silver showing detracts greatly and is such a small thing. The kitchen cabinet doors could be sanded smooth and painted for so little cost, and the refrigerator. I hate for such small things to detract so much. Yeah, they really stuck out, at first sight, but we got used to it and after those great beach views, ignored them all completely later. I would just touch it up if it were my place. Everything else was so nice, it was a shame that little things distract you. WOuld use it again if I had the same size group...and wish I could have taken the outdoor shower home with me.! Edisto Island...what a great destination! No traffic lights, no hotels, no malls...pure relaxation! A guest from Erie, PA recommends this property.
