Relaxing Experience! A guest from Donalds, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this villa. The kids loved the loft bedroom and we were very comfortable. The supply of dishes could be gone through and improved a little but I understand that it gets rough use at a rental facility. Homeowner Problems with Atwood Rentals Debra G. from Asheville, NC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 I was very satisfied with Atwood and both condo's....... my issues are wih the Wyndom receptionist office staff -----they basically allowed me to have a golf cart delivered on the first day my stay and then mid-week stopped my family on our way to the beach and told me I would have to park the golf cart - that the homeowners association would not allow renters of Atwood to rent golf carts. The receptionist in the office was very condescending and would do nothing to explain or help me - - she basically said the words - : I don't care what you do". The man attending the entrance gate was kinder - - he gave me a temp pass until I could find out more infomation and allowed my famiy to continue going to the beach, He apparently was 'reported' to management by the receptionist for trying to help me and allowing our beach day not to be ruined, I went to the front receptionist office on the day I checked in, asked for a map and told them my name and that I rented a golf cart - I had one daughter who was pregnant and another daughter with a 6 month old child, I had rented 2 condos for one week. This issue with the golf cart was embarressing ----Wyndom apparently does not want Atwood to rent the condo's.........that was a clear message to me, I've been coming to this resort since the 70"s - - - there is a real problem if the homeowner association is telling their receptionist staff to be rude toAtwood guests. July at the Statehouse (South) - a wonderful getaway! Joseph K. from Cincinatti, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 This was our third stay in Wyndham, and it is tough to beat the two places we rented previously. On arrival, both floodlights and the light under the house were all burned out. The A/C struggled to get the house below 80 and we found two pair of men's shorts on the bed in the MBR upon checking in. Other than that it was great!!!
