Constructed of wood, Villa Nahma was inspired by Thailand’s famous Jim Thompson House and is worthy of its spectacular views of Petit and Grand Cul de Sac and the surrounding mountains. Hillside in Devé, the distinctive décor lovingly evokes Indochina and includes unique touches like the bamboo covered walls of the two (king and king/twin) en suite bedrooms complemented by lots of Hermès touches. Nahma features a spacious comfortable living room where a TV pops up for guests who need their news or to catch a game. (There is US as well as French satellite service here and in all bedrooms) A fit-for-a-chef kitchen opens to a covered dining terrace adjacent to the swimming pool. The terrace continues to wrap around the villa providing spaces for relaxing and taking in the view. The 3rd bedroom is housed in a gently rounded bungalow which is nicely secluded on a lower level opposite the main house, accessed by a little path and a set of stone steps. A romantic 4 poster draped king bed provides a dramatic focal point and book-lined shelves offer a contemplative ambiance; a TV provides some in-room entertainment. A little "kitchen nook" holds a mini-fridge and the all-important Nespresso machine for morning java. The en suite bath features a double vanity, an oversized glass shower and a private WC. A door leads to a very private terrace. The fourth en suite bedroom (king/twin) features its own terrace. It’s a lovely little hideaway but just a hop-skip-and a jump from the main house.
