It is sufficiently close to everything while still maintaining a peaceful and serene environment. The restaurant at the hotel was surprising. Wonderful sandwhiches and asian inspired snacks like the delicious tuna rolls. The Cliff is also across the street from amazing restaurants like La Gondola and Temptation. The check-in was easy and the concierge service was top notch. The are only a couple of observations I would make. THe first is that the apartment we stayed at smelled very stuffy, the way a room smells when its been kept closed too long. Even though we opened the windows, we could not get rid of the smell. Secondly, it would be a huge improvement if the restaurant downstairs offered some type of room service. The view fromt the apartments is so beautiful that it's a shame to have to leave the room each time to get something to eat. The Cliff feels like a hotel in every other way, but this was one aspect that my parter and I both felt would have really added to the enjoyment of the visit. Every unit has a wonderful view of the beach. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is friendly and most helpful!The only negatives are that the fitness center equipment is not well maintained and some of it was not working, and the air conditioning broke and it took a day and half to get it running again. This was unfortunate because we had a massage scheduled on that day, and the masseuses could not perform adequately because they were so hot.
