There's a new Mayan pyramid on Cozumel! (Bldg on Right) It's called the Miramar Condominiums and it's located 2 miles north of town.
There are only 12 units in all, which must make this the coziest pyramid ever.
You will find the privacy of this low density setting enjoyable.
Beautiful in its own right, the sloping design allows guests to bask in the glowing sun on all the units' balconies and terraces and to salute that sun with a frosty Margarita when it sets.
And every unit in the Miramar condos on Cozumel does have its own balcony or terrace.
The Miramar 204 is a 1 bedroom unit that can accomoodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.There is wonderful snorkeling off the Miramar. You can see a huge variety of iridescent fish, colorful coral and large sponges.

Frustration vacation Robert M. from Houston, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2013 Despite answering the inquiry from the representatives office prior to traveling the rep left a note in the lock box saying he didnt know when we were arriving.The condo was hot(90 deg)on arrival and after running nonstop for over 24 hrs the AC only cooled to 79.After three visits in one day by maint men a man finally came and charged the unit with Freon.The water heater wouldnt work till an electrician came,the information book in the unit mentioned the possibility of it needing the breaker to be reset, which didnt help what was obviously an ongoing problem that wasnt being fixed properly.The micowave was plugged into a breaker strip and wouldnt run over 25 to 35 secs before popping,we didnt mention it,Im sure they a phone call the owner,Nancy Edwards,told my wife we must be a jinx to have so many problems, how rude,we were livid!.We had to be at the unit for the maint men three different days as they werent given a key.Never laid eyes on Luis the rep,called his office,talked to a girl there,he was out and never called back,never came by.I think he was afraid to show his face.On past visits the rep was Fulvio and he was terriffic,met us there and stopped several times during our stay to check on us.There are other things we could mention that require attention at 204 but I fear I must be running out of space.Doubtful we would stay again,sad as this was our 4th visit to Miramar 204.There are other units managed by another company to explore in the seems as 204 is getting a bit long in the tooth and not getting maintained as well as it should be.Feel free to contact us if you would like fhe complete list of discrepancies.Robert and Ann Morrison		Overall Satisfacation show detailed scores Services from rental manager Cleanliness Location Property Condition

Luis was very responsive to any issues - one time we couldn't figure out how to get hot water (it's opposite from USA) and another time our AC wasn't working. Miramar 204 Stay 4/2011 A guest from Cascade, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2011 Had to clean deck and bathroom myself on arrival. Air conditioner not working--reported to caregiver. Still didn't work well after it was worked on. Took 3 days of 24 hour operation to reach 75 degrees. Air conditioner also leaked all over floor. Found out washer didn't work on last day. Did enjoy kitchen space and bedroom. Condo smelled musty and old. Needs some TLC. Grounds and location great. Well, the maid cleaned the way I would expect to have done between guests in that she cleaned behind the furniture and used strong smelling cleaners on the floor and furniture as might be done when not occupied by guests. I actually called to request she stop this excessive cleaning because we had to leave while she was there cleaning due to the strong smell. When we came back, we had to open all the doors to air out the smell. It was too strong to breathe.We also complained to the maid about the shower clogging up and standing in water when we used the shower. Her comment was "Yes, it is a problem." However, nothing was done about it and we didn't use the shower like we would have liked. Also, the water temperature was very hot then very cold and never could be regulated.A gate was added to keep out people who were not authorized. This made a lot of noise since it was right outside our living room. A party for the employees made a lot of noise as they used the gate to go from the pool to the people next door. I finally put a note on the gate requesting they stop letting it slam shut. The neighbor hosting the party graciously apologized and asked his guests to use the other side of the building. Bill is very nice!A trick people like to play is to set the alarm on the clock radio and leave it for the next people to deal with. I unplugged the clock radio when it went off rather than figure out how to reset it. Perhaps the property management could as their representative to check for this in the future.We didn't get to talk with Fulvio because we were out when he stopped by. He missed us twice. He would have fixed all this if we had told him about it, so we don't blame him at all. I'm sure Selena was only doing what she was told about the cleaning. She is very good!Overall, we always enjoy our stay. This was the third time in this unit at this property. We'd stay there again in an instant...We had 10 blissful, quiet days at miramar 204 and wishing we were still there. I would say that condo 201 (where we stayed the last night we were there) is not up to the same standard though... cigarette burn in sheets, not as perfectly clean and a little musty smelling. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2009 The property only had a 2 cup coffee maker and did not have the correct filters(cone#2) to use in it. There was a sewage odor that lasted three days until I put a level of water in the washing machine. The bathtub/shower was very slow (10 minutes) to drain, which was corrected after the third day there. The unit's patio/porch had very small, uncomfortable chairs. Several lamps had no bulbs or burned out bulbs. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant visit.
