The Residencias Reef Condominiums on Cozumel are located right on San Francisco Beach, the most beautiful beach on Cozumel.
Just a 5 minute boat ride to some of the greatest reefs, it's perfect for beachcombers. There's also good snorkeling just off the beach.
The sandy beach stretches on for miles and miles so you can run or jog for as long and as far as you like.
All the Residencias Reef Condominiums have central air conditioning, maid service, and access to a large freshwater infinity edge pool.
The condos are located about 9 miles south of Cozumel's only town, San Miguel.
This unit has a private patio with its own private tub on the terrace and easy access to the beach. Most comfortable for 2 guests, however has a futon sofa which may best suitable for 2 small children.

Great location- some minor maintenance issues that need done Justin B. from Williamsburg, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 Awesome location with a great ocean view even though it is on the ground level. We have stayed at this complex several times and love it. The only downside to the location, is the hotel next door, that recently started having very loud parties on the rooftop from 9pm - 12am. It is not too disruptive in this particular unit though. The unit was spotless, and the maid did a very nice job. There were some issues with the unit that were not dealt with, and the company has not responded to my email where I listed the issues we encountered. In fairness, there was a number we could call while we were there if we had issues, but it was an international phone number, and there was no phone in the unit! The issues were fairly minor to us, but could be bigger to someone else. An excerpt with the issues from my email: "1. There was no remote control to turn the air conditioning on in the master bedroom. We used the remote control from the living room AC to turn it on, and then discovered it is making a loud clanging sound, so we could not use it.2. There was no remote control for the TV in the bedroom, and that is the only way to turn it on, so we could not use the TV and DVD player as we had hoped.3. The Jacuzzi tub does not work- We filled the tub with water and turned it on- Lots of rusty water came out, and the motor was making a very bad smell, so we turned it off immediately.4. The drain grate in the shower is not attached, so if you step on it, it slips to the side, and your foot goes into the pipe!5. Two of the 3 lights in the kitchen are burned out, so it is very difficult to cook in the evening." All that being said, we would probably stay at this location again if the price was right. The rep from At Home In Cozumel (RAUL) was excellent. He made sure we had the necessities for the baby that we booked ahead and was quick to tend to everything immediately. We have been here four times so the location was a non-issue as we knew what to expect. I would definitely recommend this property. Lovely Rental at a Reasonable Price; Car Recommended James S. from Washington, DC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 We stayed here for a week on a dive vacation and the facilities and unit were great. Nice pools and beach, although if you want to get in the water, water shoes are recommended as the entry is rocky.I would also recommend renting a car for your trip as well. Taxis are a bit of a cartel on the island, and taking them could quickly add up. For example, a ride from Residencias to El Centro will run you about $15 one way. The freedom of having the car is great and spending some time on the east side of the island is a must. If you get lost, the locals are more than happy to help.We mostly cooked in the unit, taking full advantage of the great local produce, but a couple of restaurants I would recommend:La Casa Mission - Located in a lovely garden setting with a mix of Mexican and Continental, and a free tequila tour afterwards. When we went, there were only a few patrons, mostly couples, all of whom enjoyed dancing to romantic Mariachi music.Parilla Mission - Downscale sister to La Casa Mission. Great Mexican food for an amazing price. The Arrachera is a must. We met up with friends that happened to be on the island, and for four of us it only cost ~$30, and the staff even went out to get milk for the other couple's baby.If you just want to be somewhere with a crowd as well, there are a couple of cruise-shipper spots right down the beach from Residencias with your standard selection of beach food and beverages.Great location, great vacation. Our 1st Week in Mexico A guest from West Kelowna, B.C. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 8 days in February, 2011 We found that this condo is to far from town, it would cost $30.00 US return if you wanted to go into town. We also found that the living room furniture was very uncomfortable to watch TV . We had to request management to come in and fix both the lights in the kitchen as well as change the safety deposit box which were both broken. The only thing we did like about this unit is was it was a very quiet beach that you did not have to rush out and put your towel down to reserve a lounge chair. The maid was very nice to us and we even had to ask for a table to eat at on the deck. Sorry but this was not what we were use to in our vacation rentals....
