More information by the provider: It’s a characteristic middle age tower, it’s origins can be leaded up around the year 1000 A.C. (The building is rises nearby the Etruscan town of Cortona). We wanted to give it the name of Dardano by the way the legend tells that this mythological character was the founder of Cortona and that from here he left to found Troy. And from there Enea left to arrive in Italy and give the birth to Rome. (That’s the reason of the popular proverb saying that Cortona is the mum of Troy and the grandma of Roma). The building has been accurately reconstructed in a way to be comfortable for living.
