The location was great - near restaurants, miniature golf, Dunkin Donuts, 2 blocks to the beach. The condo was nicely furnished and had comfortable furniture. The management company was good to work with and responsive when we had an issue with the Wi-fi. We would recommend this condo to others. The minute we walked in the door we headed straight to the balcony and to much surprise we watched a pod of dolphins in the bay! What a beautiful sight! We saw many different dolphin sightings throughout our stay! The condo is a short 5 minute drive to the Clearwater Marine hospital where we went to see Winter. The condo is a short walk to the beach and Pier 60, though with small children we did drive to park closer. The elevator did break but was fixed very quickly. The condo is beautifully decorated and feels just like home. If Clearwater is on our vacation list next year, I know where I'll be staying! Highly recommended! We were all very impressed the professional decorating of the condo. We have stayed in many condos in the US and Caribbean. This was the nicest, cleanest and great location. Good security and assigned parking spot under the building. Did I mention that it was spotless (greatly appreciated). We could have used a cot or single air mattress for our granddaughter to sleep in her dad's room.... but that was the only wish we had. Dolphins came right up to our balcony, it was so exciting. The four walk-in closets and three ensuite bathrooms were very nice to have. We were four adults and two children sharing the place, and we were able to keep all our stuff out of view, so the condo always looked clean. The view was amazing. We did indeed see dolphins from the balcony. My mom brought out her coffee and said, "Now where are those dolphins?" Then the dolphins came. My son was very amused. Our stay at Bay Harbor #301 A guest from Toronto, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in February, 2011 This was our second stay at Bay Harbor and both units we rented were decorated as displayed in the pictures. (Exceptionally well maintained) Location was exactly what we wanted as Bay Harbor is located in a quiet area (Mostly condo's) Unfortunately the last time we stayed two of the units one two floors above us and one below us, also rented had quests that had no consideration for others. Partied way into the night, (4:00am) on the balcony very loud. The qroup below us partied as well and played loud music to the point we had to ask them to quiet down or we would call the police. I would not recommend this place to people who want to have a good time and go to bed at a decent hour, especially during high season as it appears that since the units can take up to eight people and based on the total cost of the unit, much more reasonable than a hotel without any on site security, for those whose only intent is to have a great time at the costs of other quests this is a great place to stay. A short walk to the beach but the building has a problem with ants. Ants were in the bedroom and when we left they were all over the inside of our car. The management knew before hand there was an ant problem. Also, the dishwasher leaked-this the management knew before hand also. The AC in the master bedroom was inefficient-did not cool the room. The management suggested we open the door to the AC unit. This they knew about also. So, our problems were all previously known to the management and we were not made aware of them and they were not remedied before our stay. The fitness room had 1 treadmill, 1 bike, and 1 universal-inadequate. I would recommend to a friend but I would make them aware of the little problems.
