Relax in style and enjoy the Swiss themed Chalet! This custom built log cabin is perched on 30 pristine acres. No detail was spared in the design and construction of this unique log home. The home features stained glass windows, a huge stone gas fireplace, and antique styled kitchen appliances! Modern era features include WiFi Internet, a 60" Flatscreen with DVD/Satellite, Air Conditioning for those warm summer days, a Wii Game Station, and Radiant Floor Heating!
The Chalet is very comfortable for a large family or multiple families looking for a unique retreat. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 loft areas, and 3 bathrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with a King and 2 Queen Beds. There's a total of 4 Twin beds between the two loft areas.
Just across the gravel parking area from The Chalet sits "The Gym". The Gym offers a full NBA sized half court, along with additional bedrooms and sleeping options. To preview "The Gym" on our website click HERE!. For larger groups you may want to rent both The Chalet and The Gym together. Please call for discounted pricing when renting both cabins.
The centerpiece of The Chalet is the huge stone gas fireplace in the great room. You'll enjoy relaxing around the fire in the comfortable leather furniture while gazing upon the hand carved wood paneling that rings the upper floor lofts. (Please see the listing photos.) The dining area contains 2 tables that slide together for seating 12 very comfortably. The full kitchen is well stocked and has every appliance you should need to make fantastic family dinners.
The Chalet is located approximately 6 miles northeast of Cle Elum. This location is fantastic for outdoor activities, such as hiking, XC Skiing, Snowmobiling, and wildlife viewing. Deer, Elk, and Wild Turkeys call this area home. Just a short 20min drive and you can enjoy all the summer time activities on Lake Cle Elum!
The Chalet is available year round, but expect compact snow and ice on the roadway during the winter. The last mile or so to the cabin is a gravel/dirt road. You can ride your snowmobiles directly from the cabin during the winter months! There are also sloped areas on the property where the kids and young adults can enjoy sledding!
