Extraordinary, new log home in the desirable Woods & Steele neighborhood near Peoh Point! This warm & inviting home boasts two master suites, each with their own bathroom! One master suite has a King Bed and the other master suite has 2 Queen Beds. There's also a Queen Bed in the main floor bedroom with an additional 1/2 bath. No kids,pets, or men! The place was very clean, well stocked and enough beds to accomodate the group of us without issue. Loved the back yard and fire pit in particular...only drawbacks? More homes and people around than I expected and a lot of shooting/ target practice going on in the area. Would also recommend rails on the porches. Suggestion: keep some hot tub shock on hand that guests can put in each day. Water was looking murky by the fourth day. The best Thanksgiving ever! A guest from milton, WA recommends this property. Had plenty of boardgames and made use of the foosball table, and sauna. Very homey and we had snow! Atmosphere was perfect. The house was decorated with a cabin theme and the furniture was comfortable and upscale. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as cooking meals and we loved the open floor concept so we could chat while some of us were in the kitchen. The beds were super cozy and we all slept wonderfully. The house is located in the country so it was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our morning walks through the beautiful fall foliage. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2011 Not only did I rent this property due to the location and how gorgeous the home was, I rented it since it had a HOT TUB. When we arrived for our 4 day venture and were only able to sit in the tub for a max 2 hours.. it decided to quit on us from there on out. We were unable to use the hot tun the remaining 4 day stay. He wasn't able to get there until Monday and then he had to order parts which took a day to get shipped in. If we had known the Hot Tub was going to break down we never would have put you in Log Mountain Lodge. We're sorry! great place to have a mini-retreat A guest from Bellevue, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 Cute place... decorated very lodge-y and christmas-y. Kitchen cabinets were well-stocked with cookware, although some of the pots/pans had scratches on them that i personally would not cook on. Plenty of DVDs and tapes to select from to cozy up at night in front of the TV. We loved the outdoor firepit, hot tub, and backyard. My only complaint would be that the white couch was marked by dirt and regular wear & tear... a dark couch or coverslip would hide those things and make it feel cleaner. Also, the white armchair and ottoman were covered with towels which felt ghetto, but I understand that they want to keep it clean. A heads up to those who sleep in the upstairs Master bedroom-- the house creaks a LOT, all the time. It wasnt windy during our stay, so i'm thinking it's due to people moving around in the house? It was spotless and they had everything you could need. They had a pack and play, a booster seat, a high chair etc. The backyard was great for the kids to play and to set up sprinkler/pool stuff. THey had a fire pit too. We would definately stay again. We also rented Quads while we were there- there are a few trails nearby. There is not much to do in the area except hiking and quads. Log Mountain Lodge Diana F. from Buckley, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 The cabin was very nice and had almost any amenity that you might need. It was a great vacation spot for our family. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was supplied well to cook in, there were a lot of movies and games to choose from if you chose to do so, we loved the hot tub and the fire pit area with the swing and lounge chairs. We had my husband and myself, one of our sons, our daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren, ages 5 and twin 2 year olds. Everyone had a great time and my other son came over for a visit one day and they have 3 children, ages 9, 6, and 2. The kids loved the space to run and play and loved that we could have a fire in the fire pit to roast marshmallows. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who enjoys a quiet spot to get away and close to town if you need anything or like to go out to eat.Thank you for sharing your cabin. The property is impeccably clean and well provisioned with all the things you'd need. We we pleased to find knives, cutting boards, pots and pans, and various other kitchen tools readily available (a nice change from other rental properties), and there were plenty of extra blankets for the cold sleeper in our group. The property is nicely located, close enough to I-90 to be accessible, but far enough away to feel cozy and tucked away. We loved the firepit, hot tub, and horseshoes, and found plenty of outdoor fun right out the back door. The cabin itself is beautifully put together, with the right amount of homey "cabin-ness", without going too far overboard on the log cabin cliche. Furnishings are comfortable and invite the guest to throw your feet up and settle in with a good book. Highly recommended! There were six of us and we had a great time - the place was very clean, nicely decorated and had a great spaces for hanging out both inside and out. Central air came in handy as it was a hot weekend.Only downside was the hot tub situation. It has red ants all over it and the instructions told us to put a cup of bleach in the water before using ... no one really wanted to try it out.Otherwise it was fantastic - would definitely rent this place again. The wood fire stove was always on and provided a cozy athmosphere, the outdoor fire pit was also a hit. We played lots of soccer on the grass behind the house. The front and back porch are great hangout places to enjoy the sun. The kitchen is complete. The furniture is nice and well selected. Too bad that there are no hiking running&trails from the cabin. We went to the store and bought food after we arrived and didn't check the cabins stock too well and bought stuff we didn't need. There was a lot of board games and movies to choose from along with CD's. The wood stove kept the cabin toasty warm. The beds were comfortable along with the couches and there were blankets that you could rap up in and just snooze away. It had close access to the snow park trail head and our kids found a hill close by to sled down. Ok not on the property but the owners were cool about it. We were totally satisfied with our stay. Kevin the property manager was at the cabin when we should up. He was very helpful and made sure that we were happy with everything and check back with us once to see that all was good. We will stay at this place or another that Kevin and his help manage again. Thanks for making sure our stary was Awesome. And this is a true and honest review.
