If you?re hosting a large group for a Big Chill type of weekend, this is the place for you. This rustic, Wi Fi-enabled, 2200 sq. ft., three-bedroom, 2.5 bath cabin is nestled along the Roslyn Ridge greenbelt is only a mile from Speelyi Beach at Lake Cle Elum.
While plenty of nearby shopping, dining and outdoor activities await you, once you step through Wintergreen Lodge?s front doors, you might never want to leave. Everything you need to settle in, relax, dine and/or play is at your fingertips underneath spacious, vaulted ceilings.
Entertainment
The living room is framed by 20-foot high vaulted cedar ceilings. Everyone can warm up by the stone gas fireplace and sink into the large sectional sofa. Watch your Cable TV or your favorite DVDs. If competition is your game, then games can be played all over the cabin. The living room has ample room for spirited poker and board games. Up in the loft -- there?s a full size billiards table, a mini Foosball table and an X Box 360.
Barbeque is delicious year-round, so a propane gas grill awaits everything you hunt, catch or buy at the local grocery. Gather around the fire pit to sing songs, share stories and bake S?mores. We will inform you if there is a burn ban in effect during your stay. Wood can be purchased in town.
Up to four adults can enjoy the Hot Tub under the stars.
Kitchen
A full rustic kitchen with ample counter space and modern appliances makes it easy to quickly feed a herd of hungry hikers. Kids can eat, color and play games at the kitchen island while adults enjoy the dining table.
A Keurig Coffee Maker makes your morning wake-up a snap (Six Keurig KCups are provided; additional cups in a variety of coffee and tea flavors are available at the grocery store in Roslyn). The kitchen has a traditional coffee maker if you prefer to bring your favorite blends.
A washer/dryer and ironing board are tucked away in a nearby closet.
Baths
Two and a half bathrooms provide guests the space and privacy they need to get through their morning and evening routines. The master suite bath features twin sinks.
Bedrooms
The Master Bedroom sports a king sized bed and private bathroom. The guest room features a queen sized bed and a sofa that can sleep an additional guest. The second bedroom has a bunk bed, full mattress on the bottom, twin mattress on the top. A second twin bed is in the loft. Additional guests can sleep comfortably on the sectional sofa.
Whether you rise at dawn or sleep in ?til Noon, you will awake relaxed, recharged and ready for the day.
Activities
The Roslyn Ridge Activity Center* is just a 5-minute walk from your cabin. The modern facility offers an outdoor pool, hot tub, kid?s splash fountain, tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball pit, outdoor BBQ station, picnic tables. A small gym features exercise bikes and shower/locker room facilities. If you need to plug back into the outside world, there is free Wi-Fi access in the conference room.

Three to four parking spaces are available in front of the cabin. Campers, RVs and large trucks can park nearby in the secure, community parking lot.

First vacation rental experience! A guest from South Bend, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 Rented this home for my mother's 60th b-day. It was a great surprise for her and the house was able to accomadate 3 families! This was a great first experience renting a vacation home, Derek was very friendly and helpful. I only had 2 complaints: 1. There was only a portable a/c unit which was not on when we arrived. It was 94 degrees outside and probably inside as well! There were fans in every room but didn't cool it down enough to be comfortable! 2. There were 2 bees nests-one in the hot tub and one under the master bedroom stairs. They did drop off a can of bee spray but it wasn't enough. Thank goodness no one had a bee sting allergy! Other than that, a relatively problem free stay. The house has very cute decor through out and seemed spacious enough for 6 adults and 5 children (ages 3-7)! The kids loved that there was a pool w/in walking distance-even though it costs $5/person/day. The location was nice-a little out of the way but yet still close enough to ammenities. Lake Cle Ellum was a short 1 mile drive-a bit windy in the afternoon that we visited though! There were lots of board games to play at the house, fun at night time with the family! There was also an X-box that had a couple of games, although we had some problems with the remote control-maybe new batteries needed? There were spices in the kitchen, fun to see some different ones we don't normally use. Plenty of cups, adult and kid friendly alike! A little surprised at the lack of storage space for food in kitchen and no useable closet in the master bedroom. Derek was nice and granted us a late departure time since no one was coming after us for a couple of days. A great experience that we all enjoyed, would love to come back again! Great mid winter family retreat! Pam H. from Walla Walla, WA recommends this property. The properties were beautiful and suited our family very well. The kids and grandkids had a blast sledding on the nearby hill and enjoyed warming up in the hot tub afterwards. The pool table and games provided something for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. Our dogs had a great time as well. We will definitely come back! Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 The "lodge" was 53 degrees when we got there and finally required a technician to come fix the wiring. He brought 5 space heaters, and we were offered dinner at the Brick to warm up, but by then we weren't in very good condition to drive. Never did hear back about that $100 discount. Upstairs shower curtain liner was shot--big clock on wall in living room needs new batteries. To compete with other comparable listings, probably should consider a big flat screen TV. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. In general, very nicely furnished and supplied. We try very hard to address every guests concern once we are notified. I received your call at 6pm informing us the gas fireplace went out. Together we figured out the gas tank was empty. I called our local gas company and meet them at the property at 9pm to have the tank filled which solved the issue. Before you arrived I had our local hot tub maintenance guy service the hot tub and had him come back once again after I received your call to ensure the water balanced. We determined the floating bromine dispenser needed to be adjusted. The kitchen faucet was a little loose so we tighten it up once we read your review. We had an excellent stay Lisa S. from Renton, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 We had an excellent stay. It was quite and we didn't have one single problem. We loved that there was a cd player/stereo in the living room, that was a real plus for us. The kitchen had everything you would want a rental to have. The only suggestion I would make is that there was food left over in the fridge when we got there, some cheese balls, milk, and a few other things that weren't condiments and although they weren't outdated it made it confusing because 6 people brought food to be shared as a group and they cooks didn't know what they were suppose to do with it not realizing it wasnt ours. Now this is not a big deal at all and a you see I rated straight 5's just a heads up that it would be nice to remove all previous not condiment foods. We thought the place was wonderful and it had more than usual spices and cooking utensils which had we known we would have left ours behind, they really do a good job with that. There was a mix up with the housekeeper as she had not been told we paid for late checkout, she was obviously upset and we felt bad for her. Dont mistake upset for rude, she was not rude to us at all, we just felt bad for her obvious inconvenience. That's all. And we know people make mistakes and there is mis-communications and it did not affect our stay at all. We loved it and will definately re-book. We do these retreats twice a year and we are looking to do it even more often. Thank you! This home is beautiful, comfortable, clean and layed out well with a bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. Everything was well stocked and my boys (15 & 8) really liked having an XBOX and PS2 available for after a long physical day. The pool table was the real draw for me, but unfortunately it's placed in a position that doesn't really allow for good play (too close to many walls). All in all, very happy with the place and will likely rent again. For the use of the pool facilities, etc. there should be an option to have a 'tab' and pay when you leave instead of having $5 cash per person per day.
