This modern, Wi Fi-enabled, 2200 sq. ft., 3-bedroom, 2.25-bath home in the upscale Roslyn Ridge community is only a mile from Speelyi Beach at Lake Cle Elum.


While plenty of nearby shopping, dining and outdoor activities await you, once you step through Roslyn Hideaway?s front doors, you might never want to leave. Everything you need to settle in, relax, dine and/or play is at your fingertips.


Entertainment


After you?ve spent the day hiking, skiing, rafting, swimming, fishing or boating; gather around the stone fireplace or lounge on the giant sectional couch. Sing, laugh, share stories and play games underneath the cabin?s high vaulted cedar ceilings.


Watch Cable TV or your play favorite DVDs. Challenge your guests to a spirited round of poker or play board games (provided). The kids of all ages can retire to the loft where an activity table, X Box Kinetic and Xbox 360 will keep them entertained for hours.


Barbeque is delicious year-round, so a gas grill awaits everything you hunt, catch or buy at the local grocery. Enjoy your meal in the kitchen or outside the home around the giant, 10-person log picnic table. A fire pit is adjacent to the picnic table, the perfect locale for telling stories and cooking s?mores. We will inform you if there is a burn ban in effect during your stay. Wood for the fire pit can be purchased in town.


Four adults (and supervised children) can truly unwind under the stars in the outdoor hot tub.


Kitchen


The kitchen features modern appliances (including a five-burner gas stove), granite countertops and a 4-person dining table. Four more seats are available at the bar-style kitchen island counter -- ideal for kids.


A Keurig Coffee Maker makes your morning wake-up a snap (Keurig KCups in a variety of coffee and tea flavors are available at the grocery store in Cle Elum. The kitchen has a traditional coffee maker if you prefer to bring your favorite blends.


A full washer/dryer and ironing board are in the mud room.


Baths

Two and a quarter bathrooms provide guests the space and privacy they need to get through their morning and evening routines. The master suite bath features twin sinks.


Bedrooms

All three bedrooms feature giant king-size beds. Whether you rise at dawn or sleep in ?til Noon, you will awake relaxed, recharged and ready for the day.

Activities


The Roslyn Ridge Activity Center* is just a 5-minute walk from your cabin. The modern facility offers an outdoor pool, hot tub, kid?s splash fountain, tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball pit, outdoor BBQ station, picnic tables. A small gym features exercise bikes and shower/locker room facilities. If you need to plug back into the outside world, there is free Wi-Fi access in the conference room.


*Club entrance fee is $7/person per day (charged at the door -- cash only).


Parking

Four parking spots are available in front of the garage during the summer. Winter can vary between 2 and 3. Campers, RVs and large trucks can park nearby in the secure, community parking lot.

Roslyn Hideway cabin 156. Lovekesh D. from Redmond, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2013 It was mentioned on VR365 website that this cabin sleeps 10 adults and 3 kids, but all it has were 3 king beds, no additional sleeping arrangements. We were 4 couples and a kid and we had to make some last minute shopping for sleeping bags and other things to adjust. It was clearly misleading information on website. Also inside the cabin they have given 3 TVs but no cable connection, no HDMI, RGB cables to connect laptop or something to TVs. WiFi was horribly slow. Only one DVD player was available with TV. There were few games like dominoes and puzzles were available, but no poker chips. I have rented cabins in the past often and every single one came with all these facilities and all of them did mentioned correctly about sleeping arrangements. Kitchen was really good with all the cooking wares and utensils, but over all dissatisfied with our stay at this cabin.Hopefully they will make changes and at least they will put correct information about sleeping arrangements. For our Roslyn Hideaway cabin, it clearly states that there are 3 bedrooms with 3 king sized beds. I also double checked and the cabin also has 15+ games & two DVD players so perhaps that was mistake in your review. We have never had any issues with the Wi-Fi connection being slow?I?m thinking there were a lot of connections in your group that may have caused that issue. The furnishings were very comfortable and plenty of seating for everyone. The loft was great for the kids to play video games. We ended up bringing our Own X Box because the one there had recently been stolen. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. We did notice the master bed was not as comfortable as the upstairs beds. A little surprised by that. The only real problem was the hot tub. A couple of us got a really bad rash/infection from it . it took about a week to recover. We both had teenagers and this cabin had plenty to keep them busy, it was great! It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We really loved the master room sheets, so comfy! The location wasn't what I was expecting, it was closer to neighbors than I would have liked. I will say that the area was quiet, we weren't disturbed at all and were able to park our two snowmobile trailers at the overflow lot. Bring a lock, we were told by another homeowner that the overflow lot has a lot of breakins. Overall it worked perfectly for us and we'd definitely stay here again. It was beautifully appointment and very spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The gourment kitchen had everything that one could need. The property was also very clean. My son enjoyed playing the various board games that were available for guest use. The property manager checked in with us in the morning to ensure that everything was okay. He even provided us with extra sleds for the sledding hill that is located nearby. I would highly recommend this vacation rental. Roslyn Ridge sans snow! A guest from Lacey, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 Roslyn Hideaway is a classy place to stay all in all. The inside was beautiful (but missing a fourth bar stool). Outside, however, left a little to be desired. Possibly because the snow had pretty much melted, there was lots of dog poop all over the grounds, as well as cigarette and cigar butts. Pretty gross and ruled out any snow angels in the little bit of snow that was there! Derek is awesome to work with, as usual. Old Number 3 tavern is a kick! The kitchen was big enough for all 5 of us to be in their cooking (or snacking!) at once. We loved the family room with the huge sectional and spent most of our time there. We also loved that there was a place to park our snowmobile trailer near the community center and that we could hit the trails from our house. The place was comfy, cozy, and VERY clean. We were given permission to stay a bit longer due to the off season which was perfect for our group. Cle Elum is a short drive to the nearest scrapbook store and Safeway as well as restaurants. When we go on this weekend, we do not typically go very far so we enjoyed the facilities and stayed close to "home". We plan to return again for our next getaway. I totally understand about not irrigating the "desert" but something more attractive and visually softer could be done. This was a wonderful cabin to stay in. Anything I needed, Derek was very helpful. Was disappointed in the BBQ gril having mouse droppings all over in it. Had to email Derek beings I had no cell service, and he responded RIGHT away offering to have someone come clean it, but I couldn't bring myself to eat off of it after the droppings were found haha. I know it is winter, but for the price paid it should have been checked. Was also left a load of laundry in the dryer, which I am sure this was just forgotten, not a huge deal anyways! Overall we had a wonderful time, and even if we do not stay in this cabin again, we will definitely get ahold of Derek to find something. Was a little disappointed in the website saying this was secluded, there are cabins on each side. Winter Wonderland! Melissa C. from Graham, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 We visited the cabin in February, and all had an amazing time. I knew from the pictures online that the cabin appeared to be very nice, but to actually walk through the door and see it in person left me blown away. Everything was state of the art, and out of the many other properties which I have rented, I can say with confidence that this was the best. The cabin was spotless and the kitchen featured anything possibly needed to prepare meals. The location of the cabin is wonderful and is nestled in a very nice, clean community. If you have never been to the area, there is something fun to do no matter what the season. From snowmobiling or sleigh rides in winter, to hiking, swimming or fishing during the warmer months, there is truly something for everyone. I can't speak highly enough about our experience with the cabin, or booking agent Derek Doremus. Anytime I had questions or needed to reach him I received prompt, extremely courteous responses. He was a pleasure to work with, and we will absolutely be returning to Rosalyn Hideaway. If you are new to the area, just ask Derek for some activity suggestions and he will help you plan a wonderful vacation. I can assure that the only thing disapointing about this cabin is leaving. Wonderful Vacation! Sherie C. from Kent, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2012 We had such a nice time and can't wait to come back. The house was clean and very inviting. It had everything we needed. The kids were so excited there was a kinect with the Xbox. The shower door came loose and the property manager had someone out within hours to fix it. We would have liked to see a few more family games, but that would be my only recommendation...otherwise the trip and house were perfect! Stayed for 3 days in February, 2012 We loved the cabin but were a little put out the hottub did not work for the first two days of our stay but Derek was right on it and had someone come out to fix it. Unfortunately the hot tub main circuit board was damaged from a power outage surge we had just prior to your arrival which was out of our control. After receiving your phone call I was able to overnight a replacement part the same day and have installed the following day. Hot tubs can be sensitive during the winter time however we work very hard in restoring items when they do breakdown. Family winter getaway A guest from Renton, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 We had a wonderful time at the Roslyn hideaway. The house was nicely set up, kitchen well stocked and it was very clean. Our only complaint was the long steep driveway was very iced over and treacherous. It would have been nice to have it cleared or at least a metal shovel to clear it ourselves. Overall it was a great escape! I?m glad you had a nice time with you family We received higher temperature that week which caused the snow to melt then it froze up which caused everything to turn into a solid sheet of ice. Once this happens it?s pretty much impossible to remove the ice. We provide ICE MELT on the front porch which helps a bit when we receive these type of weather conditions. Magical Moment Jeri B. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2011 Had it not been for the previous guests, I think our stay would have been top notch. The dishes were not cleaned properly and had to be rewashed upon arrival. The home had also been smoked in, therefore the beds did not smell clean and had to be rewashed. Not sure about the hot tub either...there was a dog hair scum layer around the top. On a positive note the home is beautiful, and the location is ideal. We came with 4 adults, and 4 children ages 4-7. The kids were able to safely help themselves to the surrounding snow and sledding as we cooked a Thanksgiving feast in the amazing kitchen and watched them out of the front windows. The home was very comfortable and made this one of our most memorable holidays yet. The property manager was very easy to work with, and more than willing to accomodate. We hope to stay here again. You are correct we had a very bad experience with a family of 8 smoking in our cabin. It took us almost 3 months to remove the smoke completely and restore it back to its original condition. Our cleaner was in the home for 4+ days cleaning it before your arrival and it sounds like it needed more work. I'm sorry you had to arrive just before they departed. Family Time Nicole M. from Redmond, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 11 days in August, 2011 We went to the Hideaway for some quality family time. We were able to disconnect and enjoy our time. The beach on Lake Cle Elum was wonderful, as was as the recreation center. Roslyn Ridge is a bit out of the way, which makes it great for disconnecting, but meant we had to drive 15+ minutes to get anywhere.
