A wonderful house in the most beautiful location! Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2012 My husband and I spent my 50th birthday at 106 Yankee with 4 other couples and had a wonderful time! The house is gorgeous. The house has three real bedrooms, the other guests had to stay in pull-outs or futon. The master suite is amazing with the most fantastic views (bring eye shades if you want to sleep in) The kitchen had all the amenities and more. We had a private chef come and cook for us and he was very impressed with the kitchen. I can't say enough about the location! The house is set on a bluff overlooking the pacific ocean, but is situated so that there is no wind. Tip: A bit dangerous for young children. What a view! Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2012 Spectacular view! This property was a wonderful place to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. Plenty of space for the whole family (4 families actually) to be together and also enough room to retreat to read a book. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook a 5 course meal. We had a wonderful time! My only complaints are that there were a few ants (pantry and laundry room) and the bedding could be updated (and there could be a few more blankets for the pull out bed & futon), but other than that, we all loved it! Beautiful location, beautiful home...little frustrating Reviewed by: Kristin W. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 The house was beautiful and the view is epic. We had a wonderful stay.We just had a very frustrating experience checking in, that I am sure is not typical. The check-in instruction were not clear to any of us. And so when we arrived, we were expecting the key to be in the lock box which we thought we had the code to. We couldn't find the keys anywhere. So we drove back to the rental office, but it was closed, and there were no instructions for getting keys after hours. We called every # we could. And we ended up locked outside the house for 3 hours in the cold, and my baby had a fever. We finally called the real estate agent (not his job) and he very kindly came to let us in. We got in, put the kids to sleep and had a wonderful late dinner. Moral of the story...make sure you get clear instructions if you are arriving after their offices close.
