The Villa I was issued was not the one I asked for. The bedding situation was a problem in the one we had been given. The furniture was very dated (all it needed was a disco ball to complete the decor). The carpet and furniture were badly stained.We did have a good time and next time I hope to get a better Villa. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2010 We rented two 3-bedroom condos for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration with the family. #1122 was in excellent condition, beautifully decorated and we would highly recommend it. #1222 had a dirty, stained carpet, paint peeling off the walls in one bathroom and appliances that were really outdated. The diswasher was in very bad shape. It was oceanfront and the view was great, which is about the only thing good I could say about the condo. The resort is a great place for families, but perhaps needs to be more strict with the condo owners as far as maintenance and quality of furniture. #1222 really needs to be updated, and we would not recommend it to anyone. March vacation at Palm Island A guest from CAMBRIDGE, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2010 We love this place and have been coming for years. Love the physical beauty of the place, the location of condos and pool, the golf carts / no cars, Shark's tooth beach, Redbeard.That said, our particular condo has gotten pretty junky in the years we've been staying there (1222). The dryer barely works (2 hours to dry a normal load), the dishwasher is almost as bad, the carpets are not very clean, the supplies in the kitchen are quite random, and worst of all is that very strange wood bed in the Master Bedroom with the mirror. I feel very strongly that the owner needs to spend a few thousand to spruce up this unit, including removing the very strange bed and possibly putting twin beds in the small room so children can actually sleep here.
