Stayed for 4 days in September, 2012 The Bears Den is a lovely vacation home with all of the amenities, as well as little luxuries like pillow-top mattresses and down comforters to make your stay extra comfortable and cozy. There is plenty of space to spread out, and the outdoor living spaces are as nice as those inside. My favorite place to relax was in the porch rocker off the living room. The view was spectacular, and the sound of the wind soughing through the treetops was magical. My family can't wait to go back for another long weekend. We enjoyed sitting on the porches reading and relaxing. Weather was cool and comfortable, like Autumn, but very green. It was like being in the tree tops. Property was private, but convenient. Lots of space to spread out and gather together both inside and out. The children enjoyed the things Timberline had to offer as well. Garage was nice extra as we were able to fit our vehicle and two motorcycles inside. Everyone is anxious to come back. Being so close to the top made for awesome hikes through Dolly Sods and blueberry picking! Awesome views from the porch made for lovely mornings and sunsets. The kitchen was so well equipped, we ate every meal in! The luxury we were looking for and can't wait to come back to Black Bear Run!!
