Families will enjoy relaxing by the fire for a game of cards or favorite movie. A fully equipped kitchen with sitting space for spectators will make the resident chef smile and mealtimes a family affair. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and the beds were comfortable. The only thing we needed was some kindling or fatwood to get the fireplace started the first night since we arrived after dark and some dishwasher detergent would be great. The hot tub was a bit of a disappointment since the water was not clean yet it appeared as a separate 50 dollar charge on the bill. This is more of a fault of the management company rather than a fault of the house. If you don't plan to use the hot tub I'd get them to take it off the bill in advance. Overall it was a good stay. Just a few little improvements wouild make it great... A guest from Reidsville, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in June, 2011 Overall, a nice place. Well laid out, with bedrooms and furniture thoughtfully arranged. Just some little things were noticeable, but they should be attended immediately. Toilet on the upper floor sized for Oompa Loompas, with a toilet seat that is about to fall off. The towel rack and hook did fall off. Blender in kitchen was unusable, and we found no pot lids that fit. Propane tank for gas grill was empty. The sofa bed upstairs was pretty uncomfortable, even for a sofa bed. Still, the good outweighed the bad. There were 9 of us. We filled the whole house, but we were comfortable in the space. We had a very enjoyable stay.
