More information by the provider: Modern holiday located on a large plot in quiet, scenic surroundings at Tranum Strand. The house has an open concept kitchen/living room, two bedrooms with double beds, one room with two single beds and a mezzanine with four beds. Bathroom with whirlpool and sauna. Both covered and open terrace. The house is well insulated and fitted with an air-to-air heat pump, so that energy consumption is kept as low as possible. The decor is light and tasteful in known Danish cottage style. To ensure the best possible light, the entire house is fitted with large windows and there is direct access to the terrace. The plot is an open plot with excellent opportunities for outdoor activities such as playing with the kids, sunbathing or having cosy barbecues.
Holiday area at Tranum Strand with shared facilities


With a few kilometres to the sea and beach, a scenic area ideal for hiking and in beautiful surroundings, a cottage area at Tranum Strand was founded in 2009. The area is designed for modern, busy families who want peace and quiet of the holiday, but at the same time would like to have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors when the weather and the desire is to it. The holiday cottages in the area are almost all equipped with whirlpool, sauna, satellite TV with German channels and a modern interior in high quality. Each house stands on its own plot and access to the houses is via the small connector roads minimising driving in the area. The large common area in the middle of the area has the following activities, free of charge for all the guests in the area:

Hiking and cycling trails which crossing the area



Krolf arc with croquet holes (can also be used for mini golf)

When the weather is for trips to the beach, Tranum has a lovely sandy beach with clean water that receives EU quality label Blue Flag year after year. From the parking lot to the waters edge there is a ramp so that wheelchair users also have easy access to the sea.



Starting at Tranum Strand there is a relatively short distance to many of North Jutlands famous tourist places like Fårup Summerland, Blokhus, Aalborg Zoo, Aalborg Tower, Klitmøller windsurfer paradise, Bulbjergs steep cliffs and the North Sea Science Park in Hirtshals. Do not forget to take a walk along the sea and buy a freshly caught fish directly from the cutter - there is still inshore fishing in the area.
