Resort: 218 m a.s.l. >>Well-known, idyllic resort directly by the Lago Maggiore, 12 km from Locarno, 4 km from italienischer Grenze, 9 km from Ascona. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: railway station "Locarno" 12 km. Bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Lugano (LUG), Milano-Malpensa (MXP), Znrich (ZRH). Opposite Brissago there are 2 islands, one of which has been transformed into botanical gardens. Very moderate, pleasent climate.

Resort in Summer: Beach. Bathing lake. Sailing, water skiing. Tennis. Minigolf. 35 km walking path. Children's playground.
