Located on the back side of the Breckenridge golf course in the Highlands prestigious private neighborhood is a gem among our luxury vacation homes in Breckenridge. It is constructed in custom crafted 18 inch logs, with cathedral ceilings, warm living areas and relaxing back porch with a hot tub backing the National Forest. It is a perfect family retreat for which one can relax in the spacious living room area and regale stories by the fire, take in the scenic views from the large picture windows, play pool in the den, or be a part of a conversation in a kitchen and not miss any action.
Discover exceptional finishes such as one of a kind granite and marble countertops and heated flooring throughout the home. The Living Room --with floor to ceiling picture windows overlooking the backside of the Beaver Course, and the adjacent den? will be the main gathering place for your family. The main TV is in the living room. There is a fully stocked, gourmet open kitchen with commercial grade stainless steel appliances that will be a delight to the chef in your family. The dining area is attached next to the kitchen and opens to the back patio with a four burner gas grill and private hot tub.
The first master bedroom suite is on the main level with a queen bed, and its own bath with views of of the National Forest. The other master bedroom at the top of the stairs has a king bed, fireplace, LCD TV and a private ensuite bathroom which features its own Jacuzzi tub, stand alone shower and double sinks. There is also a large easy chair that opens to a twin sleeper sofa in the main bedroom. There is a 1/2 bath off the hallway on the 1st floor.
The loft area is dedicated to relaxation and entertainment. There are plenty of relaxing sofas and chairs to watch the best sports or events on TV, play PlayStation, or just gaze at the stars with the telescope along the windows. There is a queen sofa sleeper that will sleep another two late night owls.
On the other side of the second floor are additional bedrooms. Third bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed with TV/DVD on dresser. Walk through the Jack and Jill bathroom to a very spacious fourth bedroom featuring wonderful views and a double bed. The house can sleep up to 12 people very comfortably.
There is a private covered hot tub accessible from the dining area on ground level that overlooks the National Forest. So remote and quiet, it will be a home to remember. Enjoy the golf course in summer, but during winter, the golf course transforms into Gold Run Nordic Center, a cross country ski paradise for all ages.

Driving to the Breck gondola takes only a couple minutes.The house is huge with tons of open spaces, yet enough separate spaces to allow you to get away from the crowd when necessary. We spent the Christmas holidays there and had it made all the difference as this house is set up for that.The only drawback is that the beds purported to be queen-size are actually double beds. Those doulbe beds need to be upgraded to queens to match the description and guest expectations for this luxury property. There were a few things listed in the description that were not true when we arrived. Double beds instead of queen beds not as big as a t.v. as they said. There were some things broken that were annoying while we were there and a few doors that did not latch all the way. Overall we would stay there again and we had a great time. We wanted a relaxing place for our family to gather for Christmas, but still be close to the slopes for those that wanted to ski. It was an easy 10 minute drive to town when we wanted to go, but most of the time we stsyed home and cooked in the beautiful huge kitchen, played pool, watched television, and just enjoyed the gorgeous views. There was even a great sledding hill right behind the house. We could not have found any better. The management was very helpful too. Even bulldozed the driveway when it snowed.
