Breckenridge Ski Trip A guest from Zeeland, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 River Mountain Lodge is directly across the street from the Four-O Clock run so you can ski back for lunch and at the end of your ski day. A shuttle bus runs every few minutes to take you to several lift options to start your day. Your skis are stored for you by helpful staff in the lobby area. There is ground level, inside parking for your vehicle. You are one block from Main Street and all the shops and restaurants. The condo kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. There is a washer and dryer so you can do all your laundry before returning home. The one bedroom is upstairs away from the main living area. There is a full bath on each level and a TV on each level. It is an end unit on the third floor and very quiet. There is a workout room with a hot tub, but there is also a hot tub located outside that seems to be popular. I have stayed in the unit multiple times and will continue to return. The living/dining & kitchen areas were a bit tight, especially no walking room when the hide-a-bed was opened. It was a good value, though, for me and 2 children. I would not recommend it for 2 couples! The outdoor hot tubs and pool were also nice, thought one of the hot tubs needed jet maintenance. This particular unit was a bit far from the elevators, though. Garage parking was a plus. Location with shuttle stop across the street was great! This unit is well equipped. The bedroom is upstairs, and is closed off by wall and door from downstairs, so there is privacy and quiet in bedroom. King bed ? OK condition but mattress and springs should be replaced sometime in 2011. Another needed upgrade: a 40? flat screen TV in living room. The present small old fashioned TV is inadequate.
