Highland Greens Unit 204 Review Jeff D. from Dayton, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 Whoever was staying or lives in Unit 206 had their television turned up so loud it kept us up most nights. Their television could be heard over our television and over our conversations. On the second evening of this happening, my wife went next door and asked the occupant if they would please turn down their television volume. This made our stay very tiring. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 My husband and I have stayed at Highland Greens multiple times, but this was our first stay in unit 204. The unit itself was lovely; however the neighboring unit (206) watches television at a very loud volume up until midnight each night. My husband spoke with her twice; however, the sounds of the television came right through to the bed wall and kept us up every night. This was a huge negative for our vacation. Tiger Run near Breckenridge Linda B. from Evergreen, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 Map was out of scale so we got lost getting there. Linda Robison, who set up the stay didn't return calls or e-mails or call back when she said she would. She had to "ask her supervisor" everything. She was not friendly or helpful in finding out which facilities we could rent, and what our cost would be. The facility was small, adequately decorated, although not the best scenery. Nice big balcony. The heat worked! No one told us we were in a hotel-like facility. It wasn't crowded, so that was OK & not too noisy. They turned off the luke-warm hot tub at 9:45 pm (lights out jets off) instead of the advertised 10:00. There were no directions showing where the hot tub was. The kitchen needs a teflon spatula so as not to scratch the teflon pans. How about a bigger TV? All in all it was an OK weekend, but not spectacular. We appreciate Wildernest making good on our disappointing stay last March when we had no heat 2 nights in a row. Wedding Anniversary Vacation Reviewed by: Ray C. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 My wife and I really loved our stay at the Highland Greens Lodge. The 1 bedroom apt was very comforatble and everything from the furniture to the type of amentities in the apt fit nicely. I would install a ceiling fan in both the bedroom and living room area. this would help to better circulate the air since there is not A/C. We were worried that we may not get a strong wireless internet signal but we had no problem at all. One other area I would have maintenance take care of is the very, very slow drain in the bath tub. The two outdoor hot tubs worked great and it was an awesome way to unwind after a long day. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2011 We had a terrible first night as the heat was up near 85 degrees even though the thermastat was set at 60 degrees. Linda seemed to offer some help then failed to help us. The heat issue did go away but really i was bothered by Lindas treatment after the heat iussue. Katie seem to tryu a bit more but really i doubt I will use Wildernest again. I wanted a late checkout that was not offered when our place was not rented on our departure day. Really, I just felt that nobody really cared about our stay. I was AMAZED that the condo came without even salt and pepper or coffee filters, I'm sure those have been kept by the cleaning staff for years I suppose. I usually make 4 trips out to Colorado every year (my daughter is at CU) and I just felt that the little touches were not there with Wildernest. I've had better luck direct with owners.
