This is an excellent
starting point for the many attractions of the West coast of Jutland, e.g.
Ribe, Denmark’s oldest surviving city. Its Viking Museum, which covers the
period from year 700 to 1500, is especially recommended. The St. Catherine’s
Church and Abbey were founded in 1228 by Dominican friars and is one of
Denmark’s best preserved abbeys. Ribe’s City Council dates from 1496. The
magnificent Cathedral lies in the centre of the historic town. No letting to
youth groups. Letting to families only.
