This beautiful, two story log home sits on the Swan River with beautiful views of the Swan Mountain Range. Newly remodeled, this home is situated on a 1 acre lot with 100 ft of Riverfront that is nicely landscaped leaving a very natural Montana look.

The main level of this log home includes a new kitchen and a spacious dining room area with a table for eight. Sweeping Swan River views and a beautiful living room with a natural rock fireplace make this the perfect area to relax and unwind!

The entire front of the home has been expanded to allow for breathtaking views from the quiet sitting areas. This floor also has a family room with a large "L" shaped sectional couch. There is full access to the deck and water frontage from the main floor.

The bedroom on the main floor has a beautiful, antique double bed and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. A fabulous master bedroom on the second floor with all new furniture and a beautifully crafted master bathroom. Relax and enjoy the amazing views of the river and the mountains in the distance.

On the original second floor you will find two cozy bedrooms, each with queen sized beds. One with a large nook area including day bed, a table and over stuffed chairs that look out over the river. The two upstairs bedrooms share a full bath with a tub/shower combo.

The spacious new deck on the River side of the house has a six-person hot tub overlooking the Swan River. The river bank has been left beautiful and wild. The water level varies a little depending on the time of year. At the back of the house you can relax and enjoy the afternoon sun on the deck with the wind gently blowing through the fir and pine trees.

A protected boat slip on Flathead Lake just ten minutes away in Bigfork is available with the your house rental. Boat rental compaines will deliver a boat to the slip for your boating pleasure on Flathead Lake.

Swan River Forest is located approximately 10 minutes east of the Village of Bigfork, 35 minutes from Kalispell. Approx 60 minutes from Glacier National Park and 90 minutes from the National Bison Range. Nearby you can find golf with views of Flathead Lake, fishing, hiking water sports, sightseeing and shopping.

Great House and great location A guest from Louisville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in July, 2012 Home is very comfortable and stocked way above expectations. So much of what usually is needed to be purchased upon arrival was sitting there awaiting our use. This was an incredibly nice aspect of our stay. Home is a short distance to Big Fork where lots of great restaurants drew us away from making too many meals at the house. Beautiful location and the pictures of the home don't do it justice in terms of size and spaciousness.Would have given 5 stars across the board except for an issue with the internet. Was told house had DSL, but upon arrival it did not. Prior to arriving, I had asked about wireless and would have hoped that might have sparked an awareness that DSL wasn't hooked up, particularly when the staff told me they had to ask the owner about wireless.Lack of internet forced me into town more where it was available and also forced us not to spend time online. Work and using the web to access sites where activities had been planned were negatively impacted. However, in the end, lack of internet allowed us to focus more on playing games and being together.
