Snow Escape is a south facing 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom luxury home set out over 3 levels. It has central heating and cooling and heated slate floors in the bathrooms, as well as all the conveniences and luxuries a discerning traveller would expect and demand.
The carpeted lounge on the main floor has large picture windows looking directly across at the Monashee Mountains. The lounge has vaulted ceilings with wood beams and a slate clad gas fireplace with a climate control ceiling fan. This room provides direct access to the balcony which soaks up the sunshine from the south and enables guests to enjoy the sunsets across the Monashees and the Saturday night fireworks. BBQ on balcony. The lounge has cable TV, a CD/DVD player, surround sound and a DVD library.
The dining area has slate floors, a large 8-seater dining table and additional seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fitted with maple wood cabinets, granite benchtops and ample work spaces and is fully equipped with all the products you would expect as well as stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, a refrigerator with ice maker and cable TV.
There is a bedroom on the main floor with a queen sized bed and this room enjoys the use of the full bathroom off the kitchen.
The private hot tub is accessed from the back door and is located on the rear undercover deck with a view of the ski run. You can ski in and out right from the back door onto the Village Way ski run and Woodcutter. The ski locker and heated drying room are also located at the back door.
The upstairs accommodation consists of a large master suite with spectacular views of the Monashees, a king sized bed and a private ensuite bathroom with heated floors, double basins and a double shower.
There is also a second bedroom with a queen sized bed and a third bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk bed over the top. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with shower over the bath.
The fully equipped laundry with washer, dryer and iron is on this level.
On the lower level is a large entry foyer in which to greet your guests arriving by car.
Off the entry foyer, there is a media room with tiered floor and two 3-seater sofas with built in recliners for 4, as well as an oversized lounging day bed. The media room is fully equipped with a microwave, sink and wine fridge, as well as a PS2 with two controllers, a large 60? flat screen wall mounted plasma television, cable TV and a DVD/CD setup with surround sound. The media room also offers a single bunk bed set.
Off the media room is a bedroom ideal for children; it has 3 standard size single beds with a wall cut out which enables your children to watch TV from the comfort of their bed. There is also a full bathroom.

Stayed for 7 days in December, 2010 Overall we were very happy. Staff at the Rentchalets office were very friendly, but we had some issues that we were assured would get fixed quickly, that either didn't, or took much longer than they should have. There was no cutting board of any description in the house. How does one cook for 12 people with no cutting board? We were half way through the stay before a board was provided for us. Also, we were supposed to have had access to the ski locker, but the key was never found. As far as I know nobody from Rentchalets made an effort to locate it. We had a midweek cleaning that was extremely shoddy.Other than these slightly irritating but not earth shattering issues we had a great stay. Perfect location. Great views. Very nice hot tub. Terrific master suite. Altogether a very comfortable property. |

Gorgeous and incredibly therapeutic spa was serviced daily. It is perfectly situated on the run to the gondola with walking access to the village center, adn skating David and the crew were very helpful even installing wireless internet for our stay. Thankyou so much. |
