The apartment is located in the floor - right next to the front door. Location Description:

Bernkastel
The apartment is in the medieval town of Bernkastel-Kues, directly at the Moselle promenade overlooking the Moselle and the castle. It is surrounded by forests and vineyards. On the right side of the Moselle, it goes into the hills of the Hunsrück and the Moselle, the Volcanic Eifel left lies with their wares. The Moselle valley, as well as the Hunsrück and Eifel invite you to beautiful rides, bike rides and hikes.

From the Moselle promenade, walk about 15 minutes over the bridge to the medieval city center and in about 5 - 10 minutes you can reach a shopping center. Rest in the pedestrian zone's wonderful old half-timbered houses with restaurants and cafes.

motorway: A 48 from direction Koblenz, from Belgium A 60, A 48 from Trier / Luxembourg, A1 from Saarbruecken, A6/A62 from Kaiserslautern, A3/A60 from Frankfurt / Mainz.

Federal roads: W 50 in Bitburg, Trier from B 53, B 269 from the direction Hunsrück.

Train: between Trier and Koblenz, Wittlich station - pick up at the train station is available upon request.

Exit A48 Trier - Koblenz: From Wittlich on the B50 in direction of Bernkastel-Kues. About the district after district Wehlen Kues. Passing straight through the street of Cusa, the bridgehead over the Saarallee into Nikolausufer.

Coming from Hunsrück and from the airport Hahn: come through the Burgberg tunnel into the district of Bernkastel. From the tunnel exit, you can see my house on the opposite side of the Moselle. From there, go right up to the bridge head. You drive over the bridge and arrived in the district Kues, turn left. There you come into the Saaralle Nikolausufer.

Nikolausufer begins when you can see on the left side of the road no more houses. My house can be found on the right side after a flower shop, a chicken restaurant "Hahnenkamm" and a block of flats. After this house - No. 2 with red shutters.

Especially well-known is the very small and narrow so-called Spitzhaeuschen (the Pointed House), which dates back to 1416. While here, also be sure to visit the ruins of the Landshut Castle and the birthplace of Nicholas of Cusa.
