This contemporary home offers an open floor plan excellent for lounging and entertaining. Upstairs you'll find three nice bedrooms to seclude everyone for their quiet nights. Two of the rooms offer views of Mt. Bachelor so you can check snow conditions. The sofa sleeper enables two more sleeping options. Even the dog has a spot and will enjoy the gated backyard and nearby dog park. Float the river at Farewell Park (below the home) in the summer using the local shuttle to get back home. However, kitchen is sadly lacking in utensils, pots, pans, etc. Not even a kettle to heat water for tea.House did have a rice cooker though, major props for that. The one thing I would not if ONLY renting one, I would rent Serenity on the Bluff seeing that it has a fantastic backyard and Tranquility has none. It just has a small patio table and chairs in an enclosed outside patio with no grass. The local was fantastic too! Just walk down to the River and float away! We had a wonderful time! Old Mill District Townhome A guest from Hillsboro, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 Nice, open plan home. I didn't realize that it was an attached home until reading further in the information given. This should be one of the first points advertised. Also, a fenced area for dogs was advertised. I paid for two dogs thinking that it had a nice, grassed yard. It was just a small patio with cinder rock (hot on dogs feet!). Overall, though, we had a good time. Older people need something lower than the beds. Maybe a chair in that huge, very nice master bathroom. Shower head could be a little nice. Also a new can opener is needed. Other than those minor things that can be easily addressed, the house was perfect. There where even some food in the cabinets. Some of which I bought now knowing there was coffee, oil, plastic bags, foil, dish washer detergent, dish detergent, and a few more essentials I usually buy when obtaining a rental.
