Stayed for 3 days in May, 2011 We enjoyed are stay and the condo was clean and nice but probably a little over-priced for size and the lower occupancy spring season. The room did not have an extra key, and the pool access card did not work, but that was only slightly inconvenient. The kitchen was stocked well. The furnishings were nice but the Living room was small and the room layout was not condusive for watching the TV. TV in the main room needs a DVD player. The table was very small and only sat 4 people. Location was great-close to everything. Overall a nice place, but a little cramped for my family of 6. Debra T. from Portland, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2010 Many lights were missing bulbs or not working. Unit too small for bed sizes. Steep stairs going to loft and we are young, athletic and healthy! Over marketed/representation of the unit. Did not know about the early cancellation policy and their full amount due in advance. Have traveled the world and never had a hotel with this type of policy. This was not spelled out in advance or never would have booked! Definitely not recommending to friends and family. Checked out two days early and made notification. No graciousness for our 2 day early checkout (no surprise there.) Surprisingly, folks seemed very kind on phone when making reservation. As a business executive, very disappointed in how they run their business. What goes around comes around. When will folks figure out it is all about customer experience and service. The unit was dirty and the heat didn't work. A guest from Portland, OR does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2008 The agents did move us to another accomodation at Widgi which was very nice. We appreciate that. However, the water heater pilot went out and we had a problem with the heat there also! If there wasn't going to be someone at the condo almost constantly, I would have asked for someone to come in. Floors and carpets were dirty, door and frames in bathroom had blood and other dirt etc. on it. Pink & black mold around drain in bathroom sink. Dust and large bobby pin on side table in bedroom. Bed skirt and comforter in bedrooom had spills on them. I did appreciate the flexibility to check out late so we could pack up after the last round of the tournament. My only complaint was that the cleaners forgot to clean the tubs before we arrived and the property manager couldn't get anyone out to clean it until the next day. Given we have a couple of little kids, we had little choice but to start our vacation with a tip to Safeway for sponges and cleaning product. Not a vacation killer, but annoying none the less. Stayed for 5 days in May, 2007 I've been visiting the Inn of the 7th Mountain on Memorial Day weekend for nearly 20 years, and our group had grown to a point where on this stay you ask about, there were over 40 friends, family, and extended family staying as a result of my organizing this trip. I love Bend, your property, the golfing, etc, and did love the ski area. Unfortunately, the 2007 trip was my, and my groups last due to Mt. Bachelor management's decision to close the ski area before Memorial Day in 2007 (and yes, there was enough snow, I drove up to check). I did write a letter to Mt. Bachelor management, but apparently they don't mind losing the long-time business, as they never responded. Let me know if you'd like a copy. Good luck.
