The three apartments (plus a separate room) are located in two listed buildings (in Lohgerberhaus and neighboring Old Court) in downtown Balve. All apartments have been renovated in 2010 and 2011 and re-opened.
Balve located in the charming Hönnetal on the edge of the Sauerland region, not far removed from the Ruhr area. Nearby are sports facilities and some cultural highlights. The houses are from 1790 and 1820, antique feel. They are organized by Justin Anthony, a Tamil friend who lovingly cares for the guests.
Apartments in Hönnetal, the special vacation in the Sauerland region (also called the Terrace of the Ruhr). A beautiful and inexpensive alternative to hotel and boarding house for bikers, cyclists, hikers, families, technicians and other nice people. Close to the ski area and Sorpe Wildewiese. 56 km from Dortmund, 20 km from Lüdenscheid, in the triangle Werdohl, Sunderland and Menden (each 15 km).
Cyclists use the bridge from the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route to Lenne, about 37 km along the Hönne. Beginning at Radhotel Fröndenberg, then continue through the Hönnetal of Menden, over ravines, stone, BINOL (Home Stretch!), Sanssouci, Balve Neuenrade to Werdohl (train connection).
