The convenient location is close to downtown, as well as several Austin hot spots, such as the famous Uchiko restaurant and Central Market, and is easily accessed from Interstate Hwy 35 or Mo Pac Expressway. The house is only a few blocks away from the celebrated "Triangle shopping area", which houses Mandola's Italian restaurant, Cafe Monet, and the sizable Austin Farmer's Market just to the south. Heading up on Anderson Road will take guests to the Alamo Drafthouse and Cover 3, one of the coolest sports bars Austin has to offer. The Domain shopping center is only a ten minute drive north on Mo Pac and offers the best retail shopping experience in Austin.

Only a couple of miles north of the University of Texas, the property offers an open floor plan, high ceilings, and hardwood floors cascaded with natural light. Nestled in the heart of the home is a deluxe kitchen, which coupled with a large, fenced backyard makes the home perfect for entertaining one or multiple families. UT GRADUATION RETREAT A guest from The Woodlands, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2013 Outstanding location for UT Graduation activities and be able to avoid highway and downtown traffic. Only downside was that the main bath only had 2 clean bath towels and no others. I found 2 wet bath towels that I put in the washing machine and since there was some detergent that was only a minor inconvenience. Later found one hand towel that had been put away in the kitchen with dish towels and an additional white bath towel in the cottage. I didn't discover these until after I made a quick trip to Marshalls to buy wash cloths, hand towels, and a bath towel. Only other complaint is that neither bathroom had even one extra roll of toilet paper so we had to make a trip out for that as well. Everything else was excelllent and the neighborhood although it's appearance is a little run down your home was lovely. Back patio furniture was nice to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and your large dining room table was perfect for playing games and eating. A truly peaceful and quiet place much better than our many visits to various nice hotels in the area over the past 4 years where you are awakened by hall noise. Some nice eateries nearby as well specifically Hyde Park Bar & Grill with yummy down home food and even a convenient location (less than 2 miles) to Dickey's BBQ for a nice family style take out meal we could enjoy at the house. Highly recommend this to families visiting who like to enjoy their time together relaxing.
