Villa Celina is a bright and elegant independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Celina you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. Villa Celina is 140 square meters (1500 square feet). It features two nice private terraces with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from Amalfi, where you will find restaurants, the shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 300 meters (990 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 50 meters (165 feet) and the closest beach (Duoglio Beach) at 250 meters (approximately 820 feet) including 400 stairway steps (other beaches with less steps to climb are also available in the area). You will reach Villa Celina from the street level going up a stairway which consists of approximately 100 steps. Because of the street below, some traffic noise can be heard.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Celina. If you do have one, you will be able to park it at approximately 200 meters (220 yards), for a fee, in a private parking lot. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you.
Terrace 1
The first terrace is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola and by a pergola with a bamboo roof. The terrace is equipped with wood benches, as well as with a table, chairs, four sun loungers and an external shower. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi. The terrace, which is for your exclusive use, is occasionally crossed by the owners and by the guest of one other nearby apartment in order to reach their accommodations.
Terrace 2
The second terrace is 10 square meters (107 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the first bedroom and from the living room. It is partly shaded by retractable awnings. It is equipped with tables and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi.
Living Room
The living room is paved with majolica tiles with inlaid hand-made mayolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are elegant and bright, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a sofa and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the second terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The room has a window with a broad view of the sea and of the valley below. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The ceiling is vaulted and frescoed. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and large fully-enclosed shower.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television. The room has a window with a view of the countryside and a side view of the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and large fully-enclosed shower.
Mezzanine LevelKitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room climbing 13 steps. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. There is a table to seat six guests.
AnnexBedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom
You will reach the third bedroom from Villa Celina along a short walkway that includes approximately ten stairway steps. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested. The furnishings include an armchair. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.
Other roomsLaundry room
You will be able to reach the laundry room from the corridor. Here you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal.
