Besuchen Sie auch einige der zahlreichen Gutshöfe und Schlösser der Umgebung. Nehmen Sie Ihre Kinder mit in den skandinavischen Tierpark oder zum Vergnügungspark Djurs Sommerland, Dänemarks grösste, überdachte Spielfläche mit zahlreichen Aktivitäten. Von hier aus ist es nicht weit zum Kattegatcenter in Grenå. Dort gibt es ein Haibassin mit Glastunnel und das gr. Ozeanarium, in dem viele Fischarten zusammen leben. Zu empfehlen ist auch der Randers Regenwald, wo sich bei 35 Grad Celsius und fast 100% Luftfeuchtigkeit u.a. Krokodile und Würgeschlangen aus der Nähe bestaunen lassen. Ein Einkaufsbummel durch die Stadt Aarhus ist eine schöne Abwechslung.
