Timpanogos Cave Getaways
Timpanogos Cave National Monument sits high in the Wasatch Mountains of north central Utah. The cave system consists of three spectacularly decorated caverns. Each cavern has unique rock formations including: helictites and anthodites. As visitors climb to the cave entrance, on a hike gaining over 1,000 feet in elevation, they are offered incredible views of American Fork Canyon. The cave is open for tours from late May through mid-October.
There are many recreational opportunities available in the area including backpacking, day hikes, camping, fishing, skiing, scenic driving, rock climbing and horseback riding. Winter and summer programs available at the park and surrounding area. Hiking, viewing exhibits and viewing scenery are opportunities within the park.
