Lake Fork, located in Northeast Texas, is best known for its bass fishing. 15 of the 20 state record largemouth bass were caught in Lake Fork. The lake also has good fishing for bluegill, catfish, and crappie. Visitors to the Lake Fork area also enjoy hunting, bird watching, and playing on one of the 2 18-hole golf courses along the lakeshore. Lake Fork Public Park has a pavilion, picnic tables, and a playground.
