Cedar Creek Lake Lake Getaways

Cedar Creek Lake is 15 miles west of Athens and about an hour southeast of Dallas. The 32,623 acre lake is great for boating, jet skiing, and fishing. There are good populations of a variety of bass and catfish, as well as crappie in the lake. Tom Finley Park is a day use waterfront park that is ideal for picnicking and swimming. During the holiday season it turns into "Christmas Island", a stunning lights display.
