Canandaigua Lake Lake Getaways

Canandaigua Lake, which means "the chosen place", is one of New York's 11 Finger Lakes. The 15.5 mile long lake has excellent fishing for trout, bass, and yellow perch. If you feel like boating, there are public access sites to get you on the water, and if you feel like aquatic fun in a more controlled setting, there is Roseland Waterpark. There are a number of excellent hiking trails and the area is also known for its many wineries.
