Conesus Lake Lake Getaways
Consesus Lake is the western-most of the 11 Finger Lakes of New York. At 8 miles long, it is also one of the smaller in the region. The small size of Conesus Lake does not take away from everything it has to offer. During the summer you can get onto the lake via one of the 4 access sites and enjoy boating, waterskiing, and fishing. The lake has an excellent selection of northern pike, walleye, perch, and large and smallmouth bass. When autumn arrives, it's duck hunting season at Conesus Lake. From ice fishing to snowmobiling, winter brings a whole new bevy of things to do. As the meaning of it's name, "always beautiful" suggests, Conesus Lake is always a great place for your escape.
Conesus Lake Public Boat Launch is located on East Lake Road (near MacPherson Point), 4 miles south of SR 20A. Hard surface launch ramp; parking for 45 cars with trailers. Pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats, canoes, paddleboats and personal watercraft use this launch site. Conesus Lake Boat Launch offers visitors a chance to access Conesus Lake. The small parcel of state-owned land offers restrooms and picnic tables in addition to the launch.
