Leech Lake Lake Getaways

Leech Lake is the third largest lake in the state of Minnesota and it covers over 100,000 acres. Visitor's favorite activity at the lake is sport fishing.

Leech Lake is known for producing some of the largest freshwater fish in the country, most notably walleye, largemouth bass, and muskellunge. Visit in February and be part of the annual Eel Pout Festival. The event includes formal dinners, sport tournaments, and fishing competitions.
