Sebago Lake Lake Getaways
Sebago Lake vacation home rentals are found on Sebago Lake, which covers 45 square miles, making it the 2nd largest lake in Maine. The lake is an excellent destination for swimming, boating and a variety of water sports, including water skiing, windsurfing, and parasailing. Fishing in the lake is good for a variety of trout, landlocked salmon, and small and largemouth bass.
Located on the north shore of Sebago Lake, the park offers 1,300 acres for recreational use at sandy beaches, picnic groves and campgrounds. The clear water of Sebago Lake provides Portland's water supply and supports a high quality freshwater sport fishery for salmon and trout. Songo Lock is nearby and permits a boat trip up the Songo River to Long Lake.
Sebago Lake offers freshwater fishing, swimming, concession, amphitheater, boat ramp, horseshoes, ball field and playground. In addition, there is a large lakeside picnic area with large shelters and nearby flush toilets. All parking spots are shaded. Hiking trails may be found throughout the park. Trailhead signs are posted along the main park entrance and cairns mark the trails back in the campground and picnic areas. Note: pets are not permitted at this campground.
