Kaloko-Honokohau Getaways
Kaloko-Honoko'hau National Historical Park is a 1,160 acre park of incredible cultural and historical significance. It is the site of an ancient Hawaiian settlement which encompasses portions of four different ahupua'a, or traditional sea to mountain land divisions. The park is intended to preserve the native culture of Hawaii.
Visitors can hike along the coast through the park and enjoy other activities such as: picnicking, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, bird-watching, and surfing. Other activities enjoyed in the park include backpacking, sea kayaking, SCUBA diving and viewing wildlife.
