Tybee Island Beach Getaways

Tybee Island is located just 20 minutes east of downtown Savannah. The island offers a three mile long beach and plenty of opportunities for swimming, sailing, and fishing. There are also dolphin tours to be taken and numerous nature trails to be explored. The island is also home to two parks, Memorial Park and Jaycee Park. Other popular attractions include Fort Screven, the Marine Science Center, and the Tybee Island Lighthouse, one of the oldest in the country.
