Nestled in the beautiful Big Bear Valley in the San Bernardino National Forest, Big Bear Mountain Resorts (BBMR) is only one tank of gas away (round trip) from nearly anywhere in Southern California. This resort includes 435 developed acres and over 500 acres of backcountry on two distinctly different mountains. At Snow Summit intermediate runs abound, the most popular of which is the Miracle Mile. Beginners will find an improved novice area and lesson terrain, complete with moving carpets. Expert carvers will have fun on Olympic and the freestyle crowd can get their fix on the world famous Westridge terrain park (over one mile of terrain) and the Zzyzyx halfpipe.
