Lincoln City Getaway Information
Lincoln City is a popular Oregon vacation destination home to many luxurious and affordable vacation home rental properties. Along Highway 101 on the Pacific Coast, Lincoln City boasts seven miles of wide, sandy beaches nestled in among the large rocks that are so often associated with the Oregon coastline.
Lincoln City may not have a typical beach town name, but that doesn't take away from its offerings for a good vacation. Due to its location, Lincoln receives quite a bit of wind throughout the year, making it a great place to fly a kite. Storm watching has also become a tradition in the area, with the best time to catch some of nature's fury being the winter months. The town itself also will appeal to most, complete with many boutiques, art galleries, and bookstores.
